This post exists to prove the hand-written path works. It is not linked from anywhere and carries no marketing copy.
Headings drive the table of contents
The sidebar index is built from the H2s on this page at build time. There is no stored table of contents to keep in step with the copy, which is what used to go wrong: the migration wrote one into frontmatter, so renaming a heading left the index pointing at an anchor that no longer existed.
Nested headings are picked up too
Reading time is counted from the body rather than stored, so it cannot go stale either.
Ordinary markdown is enough
Bold, italic, an internal link and lists all behave:
- A list item
- Another one
And a blockquote, for a pull quote.
Structured data
This page emits BlogPosting and BreadcrumbList, plus FAQPage from the frontmatter above, exactly as a migrated post does.
